London Councils Grants: Future Commissioning Priorities
Public Consultations at the Conference suite, London Councils, 59½ Southwark Street, London, SE1 0AL

London Councils is developing priorities for the prospective 2011-2015 grants programme.  As part of this exercise, LC has arranged a series of public meetings which will enable them to engage with as wide a range of stakeholders as possible.  The deadline for responses to the consultation is 29 January 2010

London Councils vision is:  ‘Londoners enabled to live better and healthier lives, enjoying economic, housing, educational and cultural opportunities in a safer and more sustainable environment ; through improved services delivered by the voluntary sector working in partnership with London’s local authorities’
They want to hear opinions on:
    * The challenges in London that our funding should tackle
    * Whether the services we fund at the moment are the right ones and if not how they should be updated
    * The differences our funding makes to local people, the voluntary sector and other organisations working to support Londoners like the Health Service and the Police
    * How our funding can help local people and organisations get through the recession

There is also an online consultation form.  More information from London Councils
