London Councils is developing priorities for the prospective
2011-2015 grants programme. As part of
this exercise, LC has arranged a series of public meetings which will enable them to
engage with as wide a range of stakeholders as possible. The deadline for
responses to the consultation is 29 January 2010
London Councils vision is:
‘Londoners
enabled to live better and healthier lives, enjoying economic, housing,
educational and cultural opportunities in a safer and more sustainable
environment ; through improved services delivered by the voluntary sector
working in partnership with London’s local
authorities’ They want to hear opinions
on:
* The challenges in
London that our
funding should tackle
* Whether the
services we fund at the moment are the right ones and if not how they should be
updated
* The differences
our funding makes to local people, the voluntary sector and other organisations
working to support Londoners like the Health Service and the Police
